Duties
- Assist skilled plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Help assemble plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings according to specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or leaks.
- Support the team in ensuring that all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Skills
- Basic understanding of construction plumbing principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing tasks.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
