Position Overview: As a Blasting Assistant, you will support all aspects of the blasting process. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily blasting operations
Support loading, transporting, and handling of explosives
Operate equipment and vehicles as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Experience with blasting or truck operation is a plus
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsements is highly desirable
Must be able to lift and move up to 60 lbs
Clean driving record: no more than 3 violations in the past 3 years and no DUIs in the past 4 years
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work as needed
Salary is based on experience and work history
