Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all patrons. You will assist with sales, manage stock levels and overall tidiness of the sales floor, and maintain the overall appearance of the store. If you have a passion for retail, children, and enjoy working in a dynamic fast paced environment, we want to hear from you. Previous retail experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting them with their needs, and recommending products related to their needs
- Utilize effective phone etiquette and handle customer inquiries as well as providing information about products
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions and returns
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed, organized, accessible, and visually appealing to maximize sales
- Maintain overall cleanliness of sales floor and back of house
