A publicly traded, global food and beverage technology and manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its Accounting Center of Excellence, leading critical close processes, driving continuous improvement, and serving as a key liaison across business operations, shared services, treasury, and external auditors.

This is a high-autonomy role for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in complex, multi-entity environments and enjoys owning both execution and process transformation.

What You'll Do:

• Lead assigned areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process across multiple entities in the Americas region
• Prepare and review complex journal entries including revenue recognition, intercompany, inventory, accruals, leases, and manufacturing-related accounting
• Perform and review account reconciliations ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation
• Support and review OneStream reporting and submissions
• Own and execute key SOX controls including documentation and evidence retention for newly acquired and existing entities
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support audit requests and walkthroughs
• Lead the integration of legacy organizations into the Accounting CoE model, defining roles and collaborating with global leads
• Work across ERP environments (JDE, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Epicor, Syteline 9) to ensure accurate data flow and reporting integrity
• Support system transitions, automation initiatives, and ERP mapping across reporting platforms
• Provide technical accounting guidance to junior staff and business partners
• Identify inefficiencies in close and reporting processes and lead improvement initiatives
• Support post-merger integration, system alignment, and accounting process standardization
