What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preservation Specialist-Family position at Buckhorn Children and Family Services?
All Specialist positions require a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services Field (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Mental Health and Counseling, etc.). We are seeking applicants that are searching for a rewarding and fulfilling job and are excited to work with families in crisis. Responsibilities will include instilling hope and being a support to the family as well as to assist with developing a Treatment Plan for services being provided, directing and providing in-home services, and overall case management. Training and some off duty hours required. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and be willing to travel to any of the eight counties within the Cumberland Valley region. Starting Salary is 43,888. A $250.00 sign on bonus is paid at 6 months and 1 year. Work related travel is reimbursed at the state rate per mile. No experience required. Will need to provide an Official transcript and copy of Degree. Services are provided at no cost to the family and are paid for by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
