We at Buckhead Creek Ventures are searching for a full-time animal care technician to join our excellent team in assisting us in the care of our animals. This individual needs to be self motivated and work well with others.
Location: Near Walterboro, SC

Starting pay will depend on experience. Raises are given based on performance reviews.
A successful candidate:
- Can stand for long periods of time
- Can lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be able to tolerate working outdoors in heat, cold, and rain
- Dependable and reliable
- Works well with others
- Must be able to work occasional weekends
- Must have patience when caring for and handling animals
- Must be able to read, write and use charts
Job responsibilities include:
- Cleaning kennels, cages, and walkways with rakes, shovels, and commercial pressure washers
- Feeding and watering animals
- Handling and restraining animals
- Recording observations
- Additional tasks as required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good with animals
- Time management skills
- Close attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
