Sales Associate Job Description

• Present and sell firearms, accessories, memberships, and services to new and existing customers
• Be able to learn and utilize point of sale system
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Know and follow ATF regulations when transferring firearms
• Utilize point of sale system
• Research products for comparable prices
• Display products in an organized, clean, and professional way
• Restock shelves with product

Sales Associate Qualifications

• 21 years of age
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Carry a pistol on duty (recommended, not required), CCW preferred
• Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Basic Firearm knowledge
• Extraordinary customer service skills
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Must pass drug screening
• Strong negotiation skills
• Must pass background check

Sales Associate Job Announcement:

Buckeye Shooting Center is a veteran ran gun range and shooting pro shop. We began with just a father and two sons in an area no bigger than a broom closet. With a lot of firearm knowledge, many long hours, and an honest dedication to community, they were able to grow their small business to a magnificent shooting facility. Our state-of-the-art range offers 12 shooting lanes, classroom instruction to enhance every shooter’s capability, and all the firearm needs a person could ask for. In order to succeed, we are looking for energetic candidates to join and grow with our retail sales team as a Sales Associate. BSC Sales Associates initiate contact with customers in store, discovers their needs, and guides them through their firearm purchase. Sales associates will receive extensive training to operate our point-of-sale system, assist customers in selecting firearm accessories, and memberships. Most importantly, they will know and enforce ATF guidelines. Sales associates will ensure product is displayed in a neat, clean, and orderly manner. BSC Sales Associates are those that have achieved a high school diploma or equivalent, able to lift 50 pounds, able to stand for two to three hours at a time. Sales Associates also have the ability to cross-train and/or move into a position as a Range Safety Officer.
