The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Residential Medication Management team. The Nurse Practitioner provides written psychiatric evaluation with mental health status examination, diagnostic assessment, individualized treatment recommendations including psycho pharmacological recommendations and prescriptions in accordance with established standards and regulations.

Schedule: Full-time, Exempt (Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm) In Person Work Required
What you’ll do:
- Evaluate client and check vital signs.
- Ensure that evaluation, observation, and documentation for utilization of restraints are in accordance with clinical administrative standards.
- Schedule clients for consultations with staff physician, as necessary.
- Review laboratory and related psychiatric and medical health assessments as clinically indicated.
- Provide diagnostic reassessment at time of transfer and/or discharge at it pertains to the position held.
- Provides psychiatric services including initial and follow-up assessments, re-evaluations, medication review and monitoring, and review laboratory and related psychiatric and medical health assessments as clinically indicated. Provides reassessment of youth at time of transfer and/or discharge utilizing DSM 5.
- Provide client care and follow-up including re-evaluations within scope of position.
- Provide ongoing clinical case consultation with the youth's respective clinician, the youth's family and/or significant others in accordance with clinical need and established standards.
- Conduct as needed follow-up monitoring to support ongoing compliance of treatment with quality assurance standards with focus on establishing positive rapport and trusting relationships between providers and patients.
- Provide medication review and monitoring, including instruction for youth and family as requested and standing order medications per policy.
- Direct, consult, and coordinate medical services with programs and facility.
- Provide staff educational in-service, training, and QA/CQI assistance as it pertains to the position held.
- Ensure required client immunizations are current and documented.

Who You Are:
- You have a master's in nursing
- You have a minimum 5 years of experience in child psychiatry preferred
- You are a Licensed Nurse Practitioner by Ohio Board of Nursing & National Certification
- You are proficiency with computer programs necessary to complete the above tasks
- You have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
