Based in Tualatin, Oregon, our 40 traders specialize in building materials like lumber, crane mats, and millwork products. Trading is what we do — but our true strength is the relationships we build with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
We’re growing quickly and looking for a driven, ambitious, sales-minded individual to join our trading floor.
Trader Trainee Program:
You’ll start in our Trader Trainee Program, designed to give you the tools to succeed and launch your career in commodity trading. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
- Sales techniques
- Business planning
- Transportation & logistics
- Market analysis
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers
- Negotiate freight rates, provide quotes, and manage shipments
- Problem-solve logistics challenges and ensure compliance with regulations
- Research and connect with potential new business partners
- Grow your own book of business and transition into a full-time trading role with limitless earning potential
