We are currently recruiting for:

Role: Pollinator.

Location: Nampa, ID 83687.
Duration: 5 Months Contract.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with breeding operations for alfalfa germplasm development to include alfalfa crossing and greenhouse plant maintenance including staking, pruning, potting, watering, seeding, counting and greenhouse cleaning.
• Help with grinding alfalfa samples and taking quality samples in field (spring-fall).
• Will require PPE (mask, hearing protection and goggles.) will use a coarse grinder.

Skills:

Alfalfa crossing is very detail oriented; position involves working with small and fragile plant material that requires good eye-hand coordination.

Excellent attention to detail and quality record keeping.

Knowledge:

Biology Education: high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail.
• Be independent once they learn the jobs.
• Be willing to do tedious jobs.
• Computer experience
• Good listening skills
• Self-motivator
