Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties:
- Operate dump trucks to transport and deliver materials such as sand, gravel, dirt, or asphalt to designated locations
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and ensure they are in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Class B or above.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of regional driving lanes and routes
- Asphalt experience is a HUGE PLUS.
**NEEDS TO BE AVAILABLE 6 DAYS PER WEEK DURING OUR PEAK SEASON FROM MAY-NOVEMBER**
Our slower time is from December-March. We usually work year around.
