Part time or full time position
- Part time must have availability Monday through Thursday 6:30 AM- 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM-5:00 PM
- Full time position availability Monday through Thrusday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame & lens selections that are best suited for their vision, lifestyle & budgetary needs
- Educate patients regarding frame & lens technologies
- Obtain accurate measurements for glasses fabrication
- Accurately order eyewear and contact lenses
- Verify finished eyewear regarding accuracy & quality
- Expert adjustment & repairs of glasses
- Assist with frame & lens inventory
- Fabricate glasses
- Maintain visual merchandising
- Train new contact lens wearers on insertion & removal techniques
- Scribe for the doctor
- Chairside assist doctor in exam room
- Provide education for patients & their family members
- Greet patients/customers
- Provide excellent customer service
- Answer telephone
- Administrative duties (copying, faxing, scanning, ordering supplies, etc.)
- Assist in marketing activities
- Cross train into other areas of the office
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary
