Responsibilities
- Execute trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and finishing work
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Install doors and cabinets
- Conduct Flooring
- Assist with plumbing and electrical work as needed on various projects
- Measure and cut materials using blueprints and blueprint reading skills
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely on construction sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and blueprint interpretation for precise project execution
- Familiarity with the use of heavy equipment for demolition or material handling is advantageous
- Prior experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly throughout the workday
