The Warehouse Person is responsible for:
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
- Receiving and processing of warehouse stock products.
- Storing, picking, packing, and scanning materials.
- Delivery and pick up of inventory at multiple Mississippi offices sites based on operational needs including maintaining accurate records.
- Facilitating the issuance and collection of equipment and other supplies, maintaining detailed records of times and other identifying data on system, contractor and other personnel involved in the transactions.
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimizing space utilization.
- Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent combination of training and/or experience required.
- Professional verbal communication and telephone skills.
- Ability to carry out detailed tasks with accurate results.
- Strong external/internal customer satisfaction focus with sound judgement.
- Speaks, reads and writes English in clear, concise sentence structure with accurate spelling.
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated capacity to use office equipment, i.e., fax machines, copy machines, postage machines, telephone.
- Ability to use minor test equipment and an understanding of basic electronics preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift - preferred.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills.
- Must be reliable and able to work non-traditional hours.
- Valid driver’s license without driving limitations or suspensions; maintaining an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Walking, standing, stooping, sitting, driving, hearing, talking, lifting (up to 75 pounds), vision (close, distant, color, depth perception, adjust focus), and use of hands and fingers (grasp, hold, pick-up, rotate, keyboarding, etc.)
