What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Crew Leader position at Buck & Sons Landscape Service?
Buck & Sons Landscape is seeking a Crew Leader. This is NOT an entry level position and requires at least 1 year of Landscaping Crew Leader work experience at a Company we can contact and a Valid Driver’s License. THE PAY FOR THIS ROLE IS $21-$24 PER HOUR AND IS DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE.
Our crew leaders oversee crews in varying service lines, including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications. You’d Be Responsible For:
· Performance & Quality:
· Leading a landscape or maintenance crew daily
· Maintaining a schedule, and ensuring service expectations are met
· Installing landscape projects including planting, grading, drainage, and landscape enhancements
· Client Satisfaction:
· Surfacing client concerns to the Manager and proactively assisting in achieving a resolution
· Communicating clearly and effectively with crew team members and management
· Crew Management:
· Ensure crews arrive on time and are prepared with proper tools, equipment, and materials
· Assisting the Manager in the development and training of crew members
· Turning in accurate crew time logs daily
· Maintain organized and clean jobsites throughout the project
· Safety:
· Ensuring all crew members perform their work safely and in accordance with company policies
· Ensuring equipment is in good working order and receives appropriate preventative maintenance
· Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles
Drivers License and clean driving record is required.
