What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundman for Aerial Fiber Crew (Class C Lineman) position at Buck's Communications?
Buck’s Communications is hiring a Groundman or Class C Aerial Lineman for Fiber & Copper placement in the Piedmont- Triad area of North Carolina. You will be responsible in helping build and maintain overhead and underground infrastructure with fiber optic and copper cable.
Duties and Responsibilities will include pole setting and fiber placement, lash cable (strand and overlash), rope and roller, pole pulling or installation, anchor and down guy installation, placing hardware, anchors, slack storage, terminals, duct rodding, jetting mule tape, and underground cable pulling.
The position will also include responsibility for maintaining safety of the public and crew members at all times in the work area. Must be able to work in a safe manner, adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations and standards directing road safety, flagging of traffic, sign and cone placement.
Must be able to pass a drug check.
Typical work week is Monday – Friday 7:00 – 4:00 with occasional Saturday work. Overtime Available

Pay is dependent on experience level and is weekly direct deposit. Starting pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
