As People Operations Coordinator, you will play an integral role in building the organization’s capabilities. You will assist in championing effective changes, proactively build diverse and inclusive talent strategies to propel the business forward. You will support teams and leaders to build a sales force that is passionate about exceeding customers’ expectations and a place where teams love to work. This role will report to Head of People and provide general HR support to the employees throughout the employee experience.
You will:
· Assist in managing HR administrative work of employees and company
· Provide support with various HR programs, including benefits, annual performance review cycles, training, succession planning and engagement survey/action planning, and others.
· Manage accuracy and up-to-date data in HRIS system
· Coordinate recruiting, onboarding and off-boarding process, documents and workflows
· Assist in maintaining employee handbook/company policies nationwide and prepare all form templates
· Develop in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; Possess knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws
· Possess the highest standards in integrity with management of sensitive data regarding personnel
· Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
· 1-3 year experience in Human Resources related role is highly preferred, with experience in Retail
· General HR knowledge and experience in the areas of employee/labor relations, compensation training and development, benefits, as well as employment law and HR industry practices; Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to HR industry practices
· Sound judgment and ability to navigate through ambiguity, recognizing the importance of nuance - especially as it related to communication and relationship management
· Strong interpersonal communication skills, including influencing and ability to encourage innovation, and emotional intelligence
· Astute attention to detail
· Willingness to learn and develop.
· Willing and able to confidently manage conflict, lead and hold others accountable
· Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization
· Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
· Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
· Experience with HRIS system, Paylocity, preferred
· Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position is on-site Monday-Friday with optional WFH Fridays.

Salary : $42,500 - $53,800
