Position: Support Staff – Busser/Food Runner

Job Summary
Buck & Honey’s is seeking enthusiastic and friendly bussers and food runners to join our team! As a support staff member, you’ll assist servers and bartenders to create a unique and memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you may serve as a host, busser, food runner, or dock hand, contributing to the seamless flow of restaurant operations. At Buck & Honey’s, support staff deliver exceptional hospitality with enthusiasm, positivity, and a personal touch.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be considered for this role.
- Majority of shifts will be PM (4pm start)
- Open and flexible availability preferred, with weekends being a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Interactions
- Act professionally and positively with coworkers, guests, and the public.
- Answer phones, take reservations, and process take-out orders (hosts, dock hands).
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Collaborate as a supportive teammate with all coworkers.
Housekeeping
- Maintain pristine cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Perform hourly restroom checks, ensuring proper levels of supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap, toilet paper).

Education and Experience
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Working Conditions
- Physical Requirements:
- Active role involving standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to lift and carry 25-40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping.
- Visual acuity to distinguish shapes and ensure safety.
- Hearing ability to understand and respond to verbal communication effectively.
- Environment:
- Moderate to loud noise typical of a restaurant environment.
- Exposure to outdoor environmental factors during the summer season.
