- Represent clients in family law cases, including negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, agreements, and court pleadings with precision and clarity
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies
- Advise clients on estate planning, child custody arrangements, and other related legal issues
- Negotiate settlements that align with clients’ best interests while maintaining a professional and proactive stance
- Manage a busy caseload efficiently by prioritizing tasks and maintaining meticulous case records
- Stay current on evolving family law statutes, tribal regulations, and related legal developments to provide accurate counsel
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active licensure to practice law
- Proven experience in family law practice with a strong understanding of litigation processes
- Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with strong writing abilities for effective legal drafting
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive legal research and applying findings to casework
- Prior legal administrative experience is preferred to ensure smooth case management
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients
