FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position involves performing the day to day operations of a feed mill.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bags feed/seed for warehouse and delivery
- Operates bagger, forklift, and pallet jacks
- Unloads trucks bringing in raw ingredients
- Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on the mill/cleaning system.
- Assists customers
- Ensures the facilities are kept clean.
- Helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment for all.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Takes responsibility for maintaining personal safety training and checklist completion on Snapshot.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Forklift experience is greatly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Acute attention to detail.
