Overview
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Content Management Systems plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, governance, and user experience of the firm’s document management and content collaboration platforms. This role ensures platforms remain secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives while delivering a seamless experience across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of the firm’s Enterprise Content Platforms.
- Enforce document lifecycle management, access controls, and data security in alignment with Information Governance policies.
- Train and support users on best practices, platform functionality, and content management principles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for platform vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies within the ECM space.
- Recommend strategic improvements based on organizational needs and evolving technology landscapes.
- Provide leadership and direct oversight of the ECM team.
- Deliver technical support for core ECM systems, including iManage DMS, MS Teams Workspaces, MS SharePoint, and client collaboration tools.
- Provide developer-level support for complex SharePoint requirements.
Proficiencies
- Deep experience managing a legal document management system, preferably iManage.
- Experience implementing and managing MS Teams Workspaces via Intapp Workspaces.
- 5 years managing intranet platforms, ideally on MS SharePoint.
- Experience supporting professional services environments and external collaboration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, data privacy, and information governance best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
- 10 years in an IT Enterprise Systems leadership role delivering high-availability systems (required).
- 5 years leading and managing individuals (required).
- 5 years in enterprise content management or document management systems (required).
- Legal industry experience (required).
