Buchanan Technologies
Buchanan Technologies is seeking an experienced Manager, IT – Network to lead the design, delivery, and support of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring a secure, scalable, and reliable network environment while leading a team of network professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, and datacenter networks
- Ensure network performance, availability, and scalability
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, including planning and resource management
- Support network security initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices
- Manage vendors, contracts, and procurement of network equipment and services
- Lead troubleshooting and incident response to minimize downtime
- Contribute to capacity planning, budgeting, and infrastructure strategy
- Maintain documentation and provide regular reporting on network performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 7 years of experience in network administration or management
- Previous leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, and network security
- Experience with SD-WAN and datacenter networking preferred
- Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization is an asset
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
