What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Credit Analysis: Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.
- Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate and monitor credit risk exposure, identifying potential risks and proposing strategies to mitigate them.
- Credit Policies and Procedures: Implement and enforce credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Relations: Communicate with customers to resolve billing disputes, negotiate payment terms, and establish payment plans when necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to address credit and collections issues effectively.
- Contracts: Review contracts and insurance to ensure all requirements are met and support Claims department as a backup when needed
Qualifications
- Attentive to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Time management skills.
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
- Transportation billing experience.
