GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Total Joint Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating all aspects of the hospital’s Total Joint Replacement Program. This role ensures seamless, patient-centered transitions of care including seeing orthopedic patients in specialty clinic, preoperative education, perioperative coordination, postoperative follow-up, quality monitoring, and outcomes reporting. The coordinator collaborates closely with surgeons, nursing staff, physical therapy, case management, and ancillary services to maintain high-quality clinical outcomes, patient safety, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• RN licensure or LPN licensure considered.
• Strong communication, data interpretation, and patient education skills.
• BLS required.
