Job Description:
- Operate a commercial dishwasher
- Hand wash dishes using a 3 compartment sink
- Follow all cleaning/sanitation procedures as directed by the kitchen manager
- Collect used trays after each lunch period
- Put away clean dishes
- Clean and maintain commercial dishwasher according to directions
- Clean and sanitize sink/dishwasher area as directed by the kitchen manager
- Assist with sweeping and/or mopping if time allows
- Maintains regular, reliable and punctual attendance
- The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout their employment in the District

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous experience with large scale dishwashing/cleaning is preferable
- Experience working with High School-aged students preferred
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, students, or other employees of the organization
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but basic written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
