Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing dishes efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality presentation of all meals
- Follow all kitchen safety protocols, including knife skills, proper equipment use, and hygiene practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food industry standards
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen tools safely
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining food safety standards
