Job Overview
Bucci's JBella is currently seeking a Lead Prepcook to run our ever increasing production kitchen. You will be tasked with communicating clearly with chefs about inventory, creating an appropriate prep list based on fluid pars, preparing food items for both the restaurant and catering, as well as leading and training prep cooks.
What you’ll do
- Oversee daily food preparation activities to ensure efficiency and quality in all items prepared.
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering and stock rotation, to minimize waste and maximize freshness
- Train and develop kitchen staff on food safety standards, cooking techniques, and menu items
- Supervise the kitchen team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to health regulations
- Collaborate with chefs to create menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in high volume food service or a similar role within the restaurant industry
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings with a focus on high-volume and high-quality food production
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training and developing staff

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
