We are looking for outgoing and dependable Hosts/Hostesses to support our front-of-house operations. This position is a vital part of ensuring a smooth dining experience by coordinating guest seating, handling reservations and waitlists, and managing takeout orders in a high-energy restaurant setting.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering friendly and attentive service.
Scheduling & Availability:
- Must be available for nights and weekends
- Daytime availability preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests in a warm and professional manner
- Coordinate seating to maintain proper table flow and minimize wait times
- Oversee reservations and waitlists using in-house systems
- Guide guests to their tables and provide menus
- Accept, process, and communicate takeout orders accurately
- Answer incoming calls and assist guests with questions or requests
- Resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally
- Keep the host stand, entry area, and dining room neat and organized
- Track and organize takeout tickets and receipts
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong telephone etiquette
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience with POS systems such as Toast is a plus
- Understanding of hospitality standards and guest service
- Reliable, team-focused, and positive attitude
