Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise catering team members to deliver outstanding food service at events, ensuring smooth operations from setup to cleanup
- Coordinate with clients to understand their catering needs, and special requests, providing expert recommendations when needed
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and serving to maintain high standards of quality, freshness, and visual appeal
- Operate POS systems for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy and efficiency
- Train staff on food handling procedures, safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices across all catering activities
- Assist in managing shift schedules, supervising staff performance, and conducting interviews for new team members
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, event planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, catering services, or restaurant management within fast-paced environments such as quick service or fine dining establishments
- Strong supervisory skills with a background in team management and staff training
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor
- Culinary experience or hospitality management background preferred; experience in banquet or hotel catering is a plus
