What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Shop Technician (Entry-Level / Trainable) position at BTR Global?
We're looking for a motivated individual to join our paint shop. We're not looking for a master painter—we're looking for someone with some familiarity with automotive painting who wants to learn and build a career.
If you've sprayed automotive paint before and understand the basics, we'll teach you the rest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for paint by sanding, masking, and cleaning
- Apply primer and paint to manufactured parts
- Move, hang, and handle parts throughout the painting process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Learn proper painting techniques and continue developing your skills
Qualifications
- Some experience or familiarity with automotive painting
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Works well with others
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing the physical tasks required in a manufacturing paint shop
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
