Duties
- Install new garage doors, including fixture installation using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Conduct repairs on malfunctioning garage doors, including replacing broken springs, cables, rollers, and hinges
- Use welding and metalworking skills to repair or modify door components and frames
- Conduct heavy lifting of doors and components safely during installation or repairs
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience with handyman.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform efficiently in various work environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for troubleshooting issues on-site
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is often required.
- Required to have a van or pickup vehicle.
- Age 25
