Grow institutional relationships across originators.

Duties & Responsibilities
Grow institutional relationships across originators.
- Deliver high-value trade ideas and market insights tailored to each client’s investment objectives.
- Monitor macro trends, prepayment dynamics, and regulatory shifts impacting the mortgage and structured product space.
- Play an active role in shaping the direction of the desk and supporting the growth of the broader platform.
- 5 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in mortgage originators sales
- Undergraduate Degree required; additional higher education and specialty designations a plus
- A track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with mortgage originators
- Strong product knowledge, analytical skills, and comfort with market data tools
- Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
- Superior written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- Self-starter mentality with a high level of accountability and execution
- Must be authorized to work full time in the U.S., BTIG does not offer sponsorship for work visas of any type

Compensation
- BTIG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
- The current estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus or overtime.
