Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialty fabrics as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, storage rooms, and related workspaces to uphold safety standards
- Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel premises to support overall hygiene and presentation
- Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver fresh linens promptly and efficiently for guest rooms and public areas
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleanliness standards are met consistently
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to work effectively with colleagues
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and safety procedures in a hospitality setting is a plus
