CNC Mach Setup Op I

Essential Functions: 

1. Operates all production equipment and standard work instructions. 

1. Measures parts and changes inserts with minimal direction 

1. Understands simple G codes 

1. Must meet departing key performance initiatives. 

1. Performs quality control checks on parts produced, using measurements from Blueprints and Quality Plans.   

1. Keeps accurate count of parts. 

1. Ability to identify quality problems. 

1. Cleans machine periodically to maintain proper operation. 

1. Performs machine shut down procedures at end of shift as required. 

1. Maintains a clean and safe work area. 

1. Performs all duties safely. 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduation from high school or equivalent. 

Experience and Skills Required: At least one year of recent related mechanical and shop experience, which includes the following skills and abilities: 

1. Knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions. 

1. Knowledge of basic measuring skills in a production environment. 

1. Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions. 

1. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Compensation Salary Range: OTC4 $18.07-24.86 per hour. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
