Regional Sales Manager – West Coast
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development activities within the West Coast territory by managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, supporting channel partners, and driving revenue growth. This role focuses on managing the full sales cycle, building long-term customer relationships, and collaborating cross-functionally to support continued growth within the EV charging industry. This position reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings across the West Coast territory.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new and existing key accounts while building long-term customer relationships.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Maintain and manage pipeline growth and conversion activity using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the full sales cycle.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales goals.
- Support and manage channel partners, manufacturers’ representatives, and distributors through regular funnel reviews and forecasting activities.
- Provide accurate and balanced sales forecasts on a timely basis.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to support ongoing sales and marketing initiatives.
- Work with subject matter experts to develop customer-facing proposals and solutions.
- Act as a customer advocate within the organization to support customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Support program management activities related to key accounts and channel partner responsibilities.
- Develop and deliver presentations for customers, conferences, and trade shows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer needs and overall sales success.
- Analyze market activity, customer trends, and business opportunities to support territory growth.
- Travel as needed, with approximately 40–50% of the time spent on travel to support customers, partners, and events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or commercial roles within EV infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, industrial, or related industries preferred.
- Experience working in a low-volume, highly engineered manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience working with distributors and manufacturers’ representatives is strongly preferred.
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Strong business acumen, communication, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to identify business opportunities.
- High level of energy, drive, initiative, professionalism, and accountability.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable prospecting and developing new business relationships.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in an office environment but requires frequent travel to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and partner meetings across the West Coast territory. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and other office technology is routinely used.
Physical Demands
This is primarily a sedentary role; however, some lifting and movement of materials may be required during customer visits, conferences, and trade shows.
