Work Location: This position will be based onsite in the Sedalia, MO location.
Hours: M-F 8-5; 40 hours per week.
Reports To: Assistant Marketing Director
Job Purpose: Responsible for digital media advertising and storytelling within the Marketing Department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops web-related marketing needs and online presence through all social media platforms, website updates, direct email communications, and in-branch digital signage.
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including paid search and display advertising. Ensure all creative material meets compliance requirements.
- Assists with creation and coordinating marketing request collateral for specific social media channels and other digital channels, ensuring all content is accurate, consistent and on-brand.
- Craft persuasive and engaging copy for social channels and digital ads, ensuring messaging is clear, concise and engaging. Written content should effectively communicate the bank’s messaging.
- Assist in the coordination and development of department activities related to advertising, promotion, storytelling, research, community involvement and new product introduction.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns using metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, and engagement levels. Provide insightful reports to optimize future strategies.
- Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies and make recommendations for how BTC Bank can incorporate these into its strategy.
- Assists with coordination and representation of programs and events throughout the year for BTC Bank (Customer Appreciation Days, Tailgates, BTC AYBC Fundraisers, sponsorships, parades, etc.). Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
- Communicate directly with media representatives, BTC Bank departments and branches, and encourage trusting relationships.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or three to five years of marketing experience.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of digital advertising and social media platforms.
- Possess a deep understanding of the underlying algorithms, user engagement metrics, and analytics tools.
- Proven expertise in copywriting skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing engaging written content.
- Previous experience in the agriculture industry preferred.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team a must.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to up to 50lbs. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
