Location: Newport Beach (near John Wayne Airport)

Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday Hybrid Fridays

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 annually

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
• Represent clients before the IRS in audits, collections, and appeals.
• Provide proactive tax planning advice to minimize liabilities and maximize compliance.
• Research complex tax issues and deliver expert guidance to clients and colleagues.
• Partner with clients to solve their toughest tax challenges and guide them toward financial clarity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and exceptional client service.
• Assist select business clients with bookkeeping and consulting services.

Who You Are

• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS.
• Experienced in tax preparation, planning, and IRS representation.
• Deep understanding of federal and state tax statutes, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills—you can explain complex tax rules in plain English.
• Proficient with tax software (UltraTaxCS), Microsoft Office, and bookkeeping platforms.
• Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with business taxes (S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships).
• Prior public accounting, tax consulting, or financial planning experience.
• A genuine passion for helping clients succeed financially.
