Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all guest preferences are captured precisely.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor tables attentively, refilling drinks, clearing plates, bussing tables, and attending to guest needs with professionalism.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
