What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Truck position at BSW INC?
Work Summary:
Under supervision, performs duties necessary to maintain all BSW facilities to meet the standards set by government agencies, DPHHS, and BSW. Ensure the health and safety of all facilities and residents. Individual will drive thrift store truck on Monday’s and be responsible for pick-ups and deliveries. Responsible for maintenance of assigned work area. BSW, Inc. operates on the philosophy of Zero Tolerance for Abuse and Neglect and any such occurrence will be reported according to policy. Possesses skills necessary to work with individuals with aggressive and/or self-abusive behaviors in a responsible care giving style. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving in a professional and courteous manner with consumers, families, guardians, advocates, co-workers, and other service providers. Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds or more.
Education and Experience Required:
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2. One year experience working in the field of building maintenance and repair preferred
3. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
3. Valid Montana Driver’s License and the ability to be covered by BSW, Inc. insurance policy
4. Willingness to attend specialized training courses as mandated by BSW
5. Maintain required certifications
Hours of Work: M-F 8a-4p (hrs may vary slightly)
Wage: $18.90/hour
