Retail Route Driver/Merchandiser

Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products efficiently along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling of heavy items through proper lifting techniques
• Set up, organize, and maintain product displays to maximize sales and attract customer attention
• Conduct regular route inspections to verify product placement, pricing accuracy, and stock levels
• Engage with customers professionally, addressing inquiries, providing product recommendations, and upselling where appropriate
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, sales transactions, and route activities for accurate reporting
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
• Strong math skills for accurate counting, pricing verification, and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
• Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis
• Exceptional organizational skills for route planning, time management, and record keeping
• Prior experience in sales or merchandising is preferred; military background is a plus for discipline and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of route driving regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
