WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an experienced automotive technician with a minimum of 5–6 years of professional repair experience who knows their way around a vehicle and takes real pride in their work.

This is not an entry-level position.

Our biggest need right now is someone with strong experience in:

• Suspension and steering systems
• Vehicle alignments
• Suspension geometry
• Diagnosing handling and drivability issues
• OEM and aftermarket suspension installation

Performance and aftermarket experience is a major plus, but you don't need to know every platform or every modification that comes through our doors.

You do need strong automotive fundamentals, solid diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and the willingness to learn.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership of the job from start to finish.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose suspension, steering, handling, and drivability concerns
• Perform standard and advanced vehicle alignments
• Understand and adjust camber, caster, toe, and suspension geometry
• Install OEM and aftermarket suspension components
• Install coilovers, lowering springs, control arms, sway bars, bushings, and other performance components
• Identify worn, damaged, or improperly installed steering and suspension components
• Install aftermarket performance parts and upgrades
• Properly document work performed, findings, and recommendations
• Photograph and document vehicle condition as required
• Verify customer concerns and completed repairs before a vehicle leaves
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and professional
• Properly care for shop tools and equipment
• Assist with fabrication and welding when applicable
• Work with the BSP team to keep jobs and projects moving

WHAT WE EXPECT

We're not looking for someone who just wants to turn hours and move the next car out the door. We're looking for a technician who cares about the finished product.

That means:

Check your work. Document what you find. Speak up when something isn't right. Keep your area clean. Treat the customer's vehicle with respect. And don't put your name on work you aren't proud of.

At BSP, quality comes before speed. Efficiency matters. Productivity matters. But neither comes at the expense of doing the job correctly.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Minimum 5–6 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong suspension and steering diagnostic experience
• Hands-on vehicle alignment experience
• Solid understanding of alignment angles and suspension geometry
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
• Experience installing OEM and aftermarket components
• Ability to accurately identify worn or damaged components
• Ability to work independently from diagnosis through final verification
• Strong attention to detail
• Pride in workmanship and cleanliness
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures
• Willingness to communicate, accept feedback, and continually improve
• Valid driver's license
• Personal hand tools; major shop equipment is provided

PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE IS A BIG PLUS

Experience with modified vehicles, performance suspension, track cars, custom builds, fabrication, welding, or aftermarket performance parts will put you in a strong position.

We don't expect you to know everything.

We expect you to know your fundamentals, know how to figure things out, and care enough to get it right.

COMPENSATION - $30.00–$45.00 per hour

Compensation is based on professional experience, technical ability, suspension and alignment knowledge, diagnostic capability, performance experience, and overall skill level.
