Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an OSP (Outside Plant) Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in designing and implementing the fiber optic and telecommunication infrastructure that keeps our clients' networks running smoothly. Duties
- Design and develop outside plant (OSP) network infrastructure including fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cables.
- Perform field surveys, site walks, and feasibility assessments to identify the best routing for network deployments.
- Create and review engineering plans, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
- Review and validate OSP designs, including fiber routes, splice plans, handholes, conduit paths, and pole attachments
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and right-of-way regulations
- Provide technical input on network optimization, capacity planning, and route diversity strategies
- Ability to read and interpret fiber construction drawings, splice diagrams, and engineering packages
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in field and office environments
- Manage a Relocates internal team, including training, performance evaluation, and general personnel management duties.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in OSP engineering, field engineering, or fiber construction environments
- Experience in personnel management, ability and comfortability in managing support staff
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic networks (FTTH, metro, long-haul) and OSP design principles (aerial/underground)
- Experience with GIS/design tools (ArcGIS, 3GIS, AutoCAD, Google Earth, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in field environments

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and other OSP design software.
- Strong understanding of permitting, right-of-way, and utility coordination processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Pay: $68,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
