About the Opportunity: Looking for a full-time audio-visual support technician to join our rapidly growing team based in Seattle. This is a 100% onsite role supporting a customer with a global footprint. The successful candidate will join a team of professional technicians and engineers in a robust and dynamic AV/UC environment.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a skillset that includes basic system health checks and functionality evaluation, supporting executive level meetings and assisting with periodic broadcast level engagements. As a part of this highly knowledgeable and effective team you will be working in a multi building environment to provide direct AV support to teams on site and remotely to teams all over the world.

About the Job:
Essential Responsibilities
1. Verify conference room technology is functioning as expected by performing physical inspection of the equipment and regular review of reporting available from software monitoring tools.
2. Troubleshoot system anomalies using standardized approach and develop documentation to share with the team.
3. Assist with hardware replacement and device software configuration.
4. Provide constructive feedback to the management team that positively contributes to ongoing process creation and refinement.
5. Manage and respond to issues reported by client teams through the ticketing system to meet the contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
6. Assist Engineering and BSI in defining and testing new AV design concepts and deployments using lessons learned from support cases.
7. Coordinating with events, communications and executive support teams to deliver white-glove service to end user client teams.
Secondary Duties
1. Coordinate with vendor representatives for testing and evaluation purposes.
2. Create records about inventory, maintenance and other key details related to client equipment.
3. Other duties as assigned.
Desired minimum Qualifications
1. Education and Experience
2. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required
3. Associate's degree in audiovisual technology or related field is preferred
4. 2-3 years of experience providing technical support
5. 2-3 years experience in commercial audio visual technology and networking
6. 2-3 years of experience in front line customer service
7. Avixa CTS certification (CTS-I, CTS-D) is a plus
Special Requirements
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Teams
2. Customer service mindset
3. Experience with Crestron, QSC or Shure products
Physical Demands and Work Environment
1. Ability to sit, stand, stoop or bend for extended periods of time
2. Periodic extended instances of walking throughout the campus to support meetings, sweeps and events
3. Periodic off hours event support – pre-arranged and communicated
4. Office related tasks may require prolonged sitting/standing
