SR Accounting Manager

We’re looking for an Accounting Controller who wants more than a back-office role. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for driving accuracy, efficiency, and visibility across the entire financial operation—while building processes that scale with the business.

What You’ll Own

You’ll take full ownership of accounting operations and play a critical role in how the business runs:

Leadership & Operations

• Lead and develop the accounting team for performance and scalability
• Own the month-end close process and continuously improve speed and accuracy
• Establish and maintain best-in-class accounting policies, controls, and procedures
• Partner with leadership to provide clear financial visibility and insights

Financial Management & Reporting

• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Analyze financial performance and forecast business trends
• Support strategic decision-making with actionable data

Transaction Excellence

• Ensure AP, AR, payroll, and cash flow operations run flawlessly
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready processes
• Oversee bank reconciliations, debt obligations, and treasury activities

Compliance & Risk Management

• Lead audit coordination and ensure regulatory compliance
• Monitor debt covenants and financial obligations
• Support tax planning, filings, and reporting requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing, construction, or similar environment preferred)
• Experience leading or supervising an accounting team
• Strong command of month-end close, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems
• CPA is a plus
