Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an EHS Consultant entry level to senior based in Oakland or San Jose, CA. The EHS Consultant will evaluate and implement environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs, perform workplace safety assessments, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities will include developing and delivering customized EHS training, conducting audits, and collaborating with clients to improve operational safety and environmental sustainability. The consultant will also support clients on risk management initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to foster safe and compliant workplaces.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Occupational Health programs
- Proficiency in conducting audits and providing actionable recommendations for risk mitigation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and convey technical information clearly
- Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and implement practical solutions tailored to client needs
- Knowledge of environmental laws, OSHA standards, and industry compliance requirements is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
- Experience with sustainability and risk management practices is a plus
