Service Parts Analyst
New Bern, NC / Full-time
Your responsibilities
The Service Parts Analyst support and optimize Planning (buyer/planner) and Order Management functions for the Service Parts organization to ensure excellent parts availability, on‑time and cost‑effective order fulfillment, and high service levels for key customers and distribution partners. This role contributes to inventory planning and procurement, order processing and EDI/portal operations, and distribution/warehouse coordination — by providing analysis, process management, and performance reporting.
Support demand‑driven inventory planning and replenishment strategy across the service parts portfolio (safety stock, min/max, MRP parameters, coverage targets).- Develop and maintain reporting for planning and vendor performance.
- Monitor KPIs and dashboards to provide comprehensive reports, analytics, and visibility around process and planning performance to all stakeholders (fill rate, inventory value and coverage, customer backorders, appliance exchanges, etc...).
- Monitor supplier performance and facilitate escalation process to CWs, Factories and External suppliers
- Maintain controls for obsolete and slow‑moving inventory and drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce carrying cost while protecting fill rates.
- Assist in cost and margin analysis for parts acquisition as required.
- Support order management operations including all customer/partner EDI and portal orders, timely order entry and processing, creation of deliveries and coordination with warehouse for release.
- Support process improvements for special orders, return/authorization processes, backorder handling, cancellations, and order exceptions.
- Own daily/weekly/monthly reporting and dashboards (Power BI or similar) and deliver actionable insight to leadership.
- Facilitate process improvement and automation efforts across planning and order management (system configuration, EDI improvements, portal enhancements, workflow changes).
- All other duties as assigned.
Your profile
- Four-Year College (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience) – Required
- 3-5 Years Experience (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field) - Required
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel. Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.
- Proficient with data management and analysis.
- Skilled at report and presentation preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to support cross‑functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, customer focus, and ability to handle escalations and complex problem solving.
- Travel: 10%
Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
