Thermador Brand Specialist, Kitchens

Irvine, CA/Full-time

Your Responsibilities

The Brand Specialist, Kitchens plays a crucial role in enhancing Thermador’s display initiatives by orchestrating display enhancements, implementing brand styling, and integrating brand signage within the retail environment. This role will be pivotal in boosting brand recognition in the luxury market and amplifying the brand's visibility across retail displays, activations, and events to elevate the overall consumer experience at every touch point and foster a cohesive brand identity .

  • Execution of retail design projects from the Brand/Visual Design team
  • Review and evaluate display floor plans, renders, blueprints, and material selections.
  • Provide timely approvals and recommendations for minor revisions to optimize floorplan and aesthetic appeal via CAD, drawings, Sketch-Up or other Kitchen Building software.
  • Lead display enhancement projects with the objective of bringing dealer displays up to brand standards.
  • Ensure continuity and consistency in brand representation across retail environments.
  • Work with dealers to ensure effective implementation of branding initiatives in the marketplace.
  • Monitor display effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Travel to support activations and engage with dealers, in addition to supervising display installations and enhancements, providing quality assurance throughout the construction process as needed.
  • Curate styling proposals and implement brand strategies that resonate with consumers and strengthen brand presence at every touch point.
  • Spearhead the creation of point-of-sale materials to effectively promote new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Engage in regular communication with the Brand Visual Experience Partner to address both daily operational needs and complex topics.
  • Escalate issues as needed to the Brand Visual Experience Partner to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (Kitchen Design, Interior Design) – Required
  • 3-5 Years of Experience (Retail Project Management) – Required
  • 3-5 Years of Experience (Kitchen Design Experience) – Preferred
  • Understanding of design elevations, 3D renderings, floor plans, and/or construction documents, and general specifications.
  • Ability to apply understanding of design fundamentals including color theory, spatial arrangement, and brand aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of kitchen materials, including cabinetry, finishes, flooring, countertops, lighting, and fixture
  • Strong understanding of display design principles, with experience reviewing floor plans and blueprints.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate installations and development of premium kitchen displays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficient in CAD software and graphic design tools to validate drawings and measurements, providing accurate recommendations for revisions/changes.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Requires minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent presentation skills; able to speak to large groups and executives
  • Must demonstrate good judgement and discretion with confidential information
  • Experience working with premium or luxury brands
  • Travel Percentage – 50%

Your Pay & Benefits

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

Benefits offered include the following:

  • Wellness Plan that allows participating employees to earn lower medical care premiums.
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan starting on the first day of the calendar month following 30 days of service. The plan provides a fully vested 100% employer match on the first 4% of compensation contributed and also includes an annual employer-funded profit sharing contribution dependent on company profitability.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.
  • Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.
  • The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).
  • 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).
  • 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).
  • Adoption Reimbursement Program, Perks at Work, and BSH Employee Purchase Program.
  • BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
