This role is responsible for coordinating field accounting activities, supporting construction accounting personnel, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction project accounting, cost tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting within construction or capital project environments. This role requires strong collaboration with project teams, materials management, and internal stakeholders to support project execution and financial accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate field construction accounting and materials management activities for multiple construction projectsProvide support and oversight to construction accountants and materials specialists assigned to project sitesTrack and manage invoicing for third-party personnel and contract resourcesSupport the administration of temporary construction offices and project-related equipmentGenerate and maintain financial reporting related to project costs, materials, and accounting activitiesCollaborate with project teams and business partners to reconcile project materials receipts and financial recordsAssist with construction project closeout activities including reconciliation and financial reportingIdentify and resolve accounting or operational issues related to project financial managementPerform additional duties as assigned to support construction project operationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum of eight (8) years of experience in accounting, administrative operations, invoicing, or financial analysis supporting construction or capital projectsStrong knowledge of construction project accounting and cost trackingExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support field operationsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting large construction or capital infrastructure projectsFifteen (15) or more years of experience in construction accounting or project financial managementExperience with project and accounting systems such as Oracle, PowerPlant, or ProcoreExperience supporting field accounting teams on active construction projects
