Accounts Payable & Support Services Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Support Services Specialist to join our team. This role blends hands-on accounting support with vendor and subcontractor compliance work, order processing, and cross-training toward our Sign Permit Technician position. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career with us.
What You'll Do
- Enter and process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time
- Manage subcontractor documentation, including tracking and maintaining Certificates of Insurance (COI), Subcontractor agreements and W-9 documentation.
- Create and manage purchase orders for Production Manager
- Support order processing and management, including tracking orders through to fulfillment
- Cross-train in sign permit processes and requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience with accounts payable, purchasing, or general accounting support
- Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple ongoing tasks/deadlines
- Experience with vendor or subcontractor documentation (COIs, compliance tracking) a plus
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes; prior exposure to permitting, construction, or municipal processes is a plus but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — this role interacts regularly with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard accounting/ERP software
