Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Must have driver's license and personal vehicle. This is an on-call position
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain property aesthetics.
- Operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to service requests from residents, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective problem-solving.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good supervisory skills when necessary.
